The Market Place

We had Elder Christoffel Golden of the First Quorum of 70 and also first counselor in the Area Presidency and his wife Diane visit our Zone Conference. He likes to line up the missionaries and talk to them one on one. All of the Elders love the process. We had a wonderful conference, Elder Golden and his wife are from South Africa so we also learned some history of the Church on this continent. I didn't stay in line, he only wanted to talk to the young elders and I'm not that. It rains a lot here so those tile where you can see the mops drying are for drainage.

This is where we hold our block meeting in an old school complex just outside of Kakata, Liberia. These were some kids just outside with their "pet" monkey. So far we have only seen one cat. There are plenty of dogs and TONS of chickens.

Our Laundry room/Deck area. This is where we take our garbage as well, so there are a lot of lizards running around as well; good thing we love lizards. It actually looks a lot nicer in the picture.
